Installation

Install as a Blender add-on (recommended)

1. Download the ZIP file.
2. In Blender, do one of the following:
   • Drag the ZIP file into Blender and press “OK”, or
   • Go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > top-right drop-down > Install from disk… and select the ZIP.
3. Confirm Text Pro appears in the Add menu (Shift+A) in the 3D Viewport.

Use as an Asset Browser asset (optional)

If you prefer not to install an add-on:

• In the downloaded ZIP, open the included .blend file. It contains everything needed to use Text Pro from the Asset Browser.

Using a Text Pro object

Add the object

When you add Text Pro to the scene, it comes with three modifiers:

• Text Pro geometry nodes modifier
• Bevel modifier (disabled by default)
• Subdivision surface modifier (disabled by default)

The Bevel and Subdivision Surface modifiers are pre-configured for a subdivision workflow (smooth letters). While the text has depth, enable them in both the viewport and render:

• Bevel modifier adds support loops. The amount slider controls how sharp the letters feel.
